TYPE: Female holotype from Crediton , 21 ° 12 ̍ S, 148 ° 32 ̍ E, Queensland (Apr. 14–21, 1975; R. Kohout, V. Davies), deposited in QMB ( S28482 View Materials ) .
ETYMOLOGY: The specific name is a noun in apposition taken from the type locality.
DIAGNOSIS: Males are unknown; females resemble those of R. bulburin but have much shorter anterior epigynal ducts, and much more angular median epigynal ducts (fig. 484).
MALE: Unknown.
FEMALE: Total length 18. Coloration as in R. lugubris . Leg spination: femora: II, III p1 10; IV p100; tibiae III, IV v1p1p2; metatarsi: III v202; IV v002. Epigynal ducts very short, not extending near arched anterior margin of epigynum (fig. 483); anterior portion of ducts occupying about onesixth of epigynal length (fig. 484).
