Dimensions: 34.2 μm long, 33.0 μm wide; 10 striae in 10 μm.
This species and var. pinnatus occur in Guam; transfer to Coronia was made by Ruck & Guiry (2016) on the basis of findings in Ruck et al. (2016). The variety needs formal transfer to Coronia and this is made below.
