Lathrolestes fumipennis sp. nov.

Diagnosis. This species differ from the closely related L. bipunctatus and L. pictilis by infuscate wings, short propodeum with vertical hind part ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ), distinct sparse punctures of lower part of mesopleuron ( Fig 11 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ), enlarged 5th article of tarsus, short first metasomal tergite, ovipositor straight and thin, very gradually tapered from base to apex, without notch ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ).
Description. Female. Body length 4 mm. Antenna with 24 flagellomeres. Scape 0.58 × as lomg as wide. Head slightly narrowed behind the eyes, shining, face with distinct puncntures ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ). Maximum length of temple 0.82 × transverse eye diameter; minimum length of temple 0.68X transverse eye diameter. Face 1,12 × transverse eye diameter; in dorsolateral profile convex, medially not bulging; setose. Clypeus separated by distinct groove; at apex projecting slightly anteriorly; distinctly, sparsely and deeply punctate, setose. Apical margin of clypeus obtuse. Tentorial fossa not large and elongate. Malar space 0.45 × of basal mandible width. Occipital carina medially complete. Lower mandible tooth longer than upper.
Notaulus distinct. Mesopleuron shining, distinctly and sparsely punctate in lower part ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ). Tarsi with apical article not enlaged. Claws pectinate ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ). Fore wing with Radius intercepting stigma at its middle. Areolet small, petiolate. Second recurrent vein with a single bulla. Nervellus intercepted below middle. Nervulus slightly postfurcal. Propodeum with carinae complete ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ).
Metasoma shining. First metasomal tergite as wide as long; without shallow median longitudinal impression; bordered by lateral longitudinal carinae; dorsal longitudinal carinae defined at base. Second metasomal tergite transverse. Ovipositor straight and thin, very gradually tapered from base to apex, without notch ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ).
Color. Female. Body brown ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 8 – 13 ); Wings fulvous. Legs reddish-yellow; base of antenna, tegulae yellowish; metasomal tergite brownish.

Distribution: Far East of Russia.
Etymology: The species epithet, fumipennis , refers to the coloration of wings.
