Diagnostic characters. Antenna reaching base of wing if bent backward ( Fig. 33 View FIGURES 33–35 ). Prescutum and presutural scutum with one relatively broad grey stripe at middle ( Fig. 34 View FIGURES 33–35 ). Wing whitish subhyaline; costal and subcostal cells brownish ( Fig. 35 View FIGURES 33–35 ). Tergite 9 with posterior margin of tergal saucer broadly emarginated; anterior part narrowed, elevated into a quadrate-shaped sclerotized plate ( Fig. 37 View FIGURES 36–39 ). Gonocoxite point-apexed with raised distal part ( Figs 36, 38, 39 View FIGURES 36–39 ). Clasper of gonostylus blade-shaped; beak sclerotized and spike-shaped ( Fig. 39 View FIGURES 36–39 ).
Elevation range in China. Adults were collected at altitudes ranging from 1100 m to 1800 m.
Period of activity. Adults were collected only in July.
Known distribution. Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia–Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China (Xinjiang), Croatia, Czech Rep., Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Mongolia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine.
Remark. This is the first report of this species from China.
