Diagnosis. ♂ of Conganteon with head and mesosoma mostly testaceous-whitish ( Fig. 25 View FIGURE 25 ); head and mesoscutum punctate, unsculptured among punctures; paramere ( Fig. 27A View FIGURE 27 ) with inner margin of distal part not provided with short sensorial processes.
Description. ♂ ( Fig. 25 View FIGURE 25 ). Fully winged; body length 2.3–2.9 mm. Head testaceous-whitish, except brown spots around ocelli; antenna testaceous-whitish; mesosoma testaceous-whitish, except anterior margin of mesoscutellum, most of metanotum (except posterior margin testaceous) and metapectal-propodeal disc brown; metasoma brown; legs completely testaceous-whitish.Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 9:3:10:10:9:9:8:6:6:7. Head shiny, strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 7; OL = 4; OOL = 7; OPL = 7; TL = 7; greatest breadth of lateral ocelli shorter than OL (3:4). Mesoscutum strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.5 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Metanotum rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (10:7). Paramere ( Fig. 27A View FIGURE 27 ) with inner margin of distal part not provided with short sensorial processes. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Material examined. Types: ♂ holotype, NMK/INV/T-639: KENYA: Eastern Prov. , Kasaala area, 2.07836°S 38.22517°E, 733 m, 5–19.XI.2015, MT, just inside isolated woodland patch, R. Copeland leg. ( NMK). Paratypes GoogleMaps : same locality label as holotype GoogleMaps , 4♂♂ (3 in NMK, NMK /INV/T-640, 641, 642; 1 in MOLC, MO/344) .

Distribution. Kenya.
Etymology. The species is named after William Anderson Hawley, epidemiologist, evolutionary biologist and crackerjack birder.
