Description. ♂. Fully winged; body length 1.4 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna testaceousbrown; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 7:4.5:5:5:5:5.5:6:5.5:5:7. Head dull, granulate; frontal line absent; occipital carina complete; POL = 4; OL = 2; OOL = 3.5; OPL = 2.5; TL = 4. Mesoscutum granulate, with stripe near posterior margin shiny and unsculptured. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.4 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, with strong transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels, completely reticulate rugose. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (1.5:4). Paramere ( Fig. 46B View FIGURE 46 ) with distal inner rounded process. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Distribution. South Africa.

Remarks. Anteon danielssoni may be confused with A. inane Olmi, 2004 . Some specimens of A. inane in fact have a granulate head and slightly evanescent striae. However, in A inane the frontal line is complete, whereas in A. danielssoni it is absent.
