Description. ♂. Fully winged; body length 2.0– 2.2 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs brown, except tibiae and tarsi testaceous; occasionally metatarsus brown. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 12:6:5:5:5.5:6:6:6:6:9. Head dull, reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; occipital carina complete; POL = 5; OL = 3; OOL = 6; OPL = 2.5; TL = 3. Mesoscutum shiny, with surface near anterior margin rugose; rest of surface sculptured by slight irregular striae and unsculptured among striae. Notauli reduced, slightly and shortly visible near anterior margin of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc with strong transverse posterior keel, reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands or spots; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (3:7). Paramere ( Fig. 54E View FIGURE 54 ) much shorter than penis, without distal inner process. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Material examined. Type: ♂ holotype: KENYA: Western Prov., 27 mi. NE Kisumu, Kaimosi Mission , 1650 m, 29.XI.1957, E.S. Ross & R.E. Leech leg. ( CAS) . Other material: ETHIOPIA: Shewa (= Shoa) Prov., about 130 km S Addis Abeba, Marakò , 1♂ ( AMNH) .

Distribution. Ethiopia, Kenya.
