Description. ♂. Fully winged; body length 2.2–3.4 mm. Black, except mandible and tegula testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 8:5:10:9.9:9:9:9:9:9. Head shiny, strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures; occipital carina complete; POL = 8; OL = 4; OOL = 7; OPL = 3; TL = 5. Mesoscutum shiny, strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching about 0.5 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal disc completely reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands or spots; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (3:9). Paramere ( Fig. 65B View FIGURE 65 ) without distal inner process and proximal membranous process. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Material examined. Types: ♂ holotype: SOUTH AFRICA: Western Cape, Mossel Bay , X.1933, R.E. Turner leg. ( NHMUK) . Paratypes: SOUTH AFRICA: Western Cape, near Stellenbosch, Jonkershoek Reserve , 14♂♂ (10 in AEIC, 4 in AMNH). Other material: SENEGAL: near Kaolack, Diedieng , 1♂ ( FSAE) .
