Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 8.1–10.0 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus, malar space and anterior region of frons (more along orbits) yellow; occasionally head with some small reddish spots along orbits; propleuron black; pronotum black, except lateral margins and posterior collar reddish; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma black-brown; legs brown-black, except tarsi testaceous. Head dull, slightly reticulate rugose; occipital carina complete; lateral ocelli not touching occipital carina; OL shorter than POL; OL = OPL; TL slightly shorter than POL (8:9). Pronotum (( Fig. 133F View FIGURE 133 ) dull, granulate, with many striae around disc; pronotum crossed by slight anterior transverse impression and very strong posterior transverse furrow; anterior collar almost absent; posterior collar long; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Mesoscutum very setose, dull, granulate, with some slight irregular keels. Notauli incomplete, approximately reaching 0.65 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum as sculptured as mesoscutum. Metanotum rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, with two short longitudinal keels. Forewing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein about twice as long as proximal part. Protarsomere 1 about as long as 4. Protarsomere 3 produced into hook. Enlarged claw (( Fig. 135A View FIGURE 135 ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of 19 lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 135A View FIGURE 135 ) with two rows of about 38 lamellae; apex with approximately 14 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO: Haut-Uele , Paulis (= Isiro), VII.1947, P.L.G. Benoit leg. ( MRAC) . Other material: SIERRA LEONE: Freetown , 1♀ ( AEIC) .
