Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 10.6 mm. Head and prothorax testaceous-reddish; antenna testaceous, except antennomeres 7–10 and distal part of antennomere 6 darkened; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma black; legs testaceous. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 18:7:54:25:20:16:12:11:9:11. Head flat, dull, reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; occipital carina incomplete, laterally reaching eyes; occipital carina not visible on sides of occiput, present on ventral side of head; POL = 8; OL = 3; OOL = 10; OPL = 2; temple absent. Pronotum shiny, slightly granulate, with disc very humped, crossed by anterior transverse impression; anterior collar with anterior margin emarginated; posterior collar absent; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and metanotum dull, reticulate rugose. Notauli absent. Mesoscutum with two longitudinal keels, reaching approximately 0.5 × length of mesoscutum and similar to notauli. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, with two longitudinal keels. Forewing yellow, with one black transverse band around 2r-rs&Rs vein; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (23:16). Hind wing hyaline, with distal region darkened. Protarsal in following proportions: 24:4:13:28:50. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 150A View FIGURE 150 ) spatulate, without teeth and lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 150A View FIGURE 150 ) with some rows of approximately 72 lamellae; apex with approximately 18 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: MADAGASCAR: Toliara, Berenty, 12 km NW Amboasari , 5– 15.V.1983, J.S. Noyes leg. ( NHMUK).
