Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 3.0– 3.5 mm. Yellow-reddish, except petiole black. Antenna clavate; anten- nomeres in following proportions: 8:6:18:13:10:9.5:8:8:8:8. Head slightly excavated, shiny, slightly granulate; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; POL = 2; OL = 3; OOL = 10. Palpal formula 4/2 or 5/2. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, shiny, unsculptured. Mesoscutum shiny, slightly rugose, without lateral pointed apophyses. Metanotum shiny, not transversely striate, about coplanar to mesoscutellum ( Fig. 209B View FIGURE 209 ). Metapectalpropodeal disc shiny, unsculptured; propodeal declivity transversely striate. Mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 15:3:4:18:28. Enlarged claw ( Figs 211D View FIGURE 211 , 212A View FIGURE 212 ) with one small subapical tooth and 5–7 bristles or peg-like setae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 211D View FIGURE 211 ) with one row of 21–23 lamellae (in specimen from the United Arab Emirates, 25°23’N 56°10’E, one row of 10–11 lamellae ( Fig. 212A View FIGURE 212 )); apex of protarsomere 5 with 9–10 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO: South Kivu, Mt. Shamulamba ( AMNH). Other material: GAMBIA: Lower River Division, Upper Baddibu, Farafenni, 1♀ ( KJHC). MOZAMBIQUE: Maputo Prov., 6 km E of Manhiça, 1♀ ( AMNH). TANZANIA: Mkomazi Game Reserve, Ibaya Camp, north west side, 03°57.91’S 37°48.09’E, 30.IV–2.V.1996, YPT, Acacia / Commiphora / Combretum bushland, SAM–HYM–PO19289, S. van Noort leg., 1♀ ( SAMC). UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: near Tayyibah, 25°23’N 56°10’E, 10.III.2005, hand collecting, 927, A. van Harten leg., 1♀ ( MOLC). YEMEN: Madinat–ash–Shirq, 28.II.2001, A. van Harten leg., 1♀ ( MOLC).
