Diagnosis. Apterous ♀ of Gonatopus with palpal formula 6/3; temple without sharp carina; pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression ( Fig. 213B View FIGURE 213 ); mesoscutum less than twice as long as broad, with two lateral pointed apophyses ( Fig. 213C View FIGURE 213 ); meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete; mesopleuron with lateral pointed apophysis ( Fig. 213C View FIGURE 213 ); metapectal-propodeal disc without strong median furrow; protarsomere 1 shorter than 4; enlarged claw with one small subapical tooth ( Fig. 214 View FIGURE 214 ).
Description. ♀ ( Fig. 213 View FIGURE 213 ). Apterous; body length 4.2 mm. Head brown, except mandible, clypeus, malar space and anterior third of frons testaceous; antenna testaceous; mesosoma black, except lateral regions of pronotum testaceous, mesoscutum mostly yellow, metanotum testaceous, metapectal-propodeal disc and propodeal declivity brown; metasoma brown; proleg testaceous, except club of femur brown and brown spots on coxa, trochanter and tibia; mesoleg testaceous, except brown spot on coxa and club and distal extremity of femur; metaleg testaceous, except brown spot on coxa and distal extremity of femur. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 9:7:24:17:14:10:8:8:7:9. Head ( Fig. 213D View FIGURE 213 ) excavated, dull, granulate, with no ADOs; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; temple distinct; POL = 2; OL = 2; OOL = 9. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum crossed by strong transverse impression, shiny, unsculptured. Mesoscutum dull, granulate, with two lateral pointed apophyses. Mesoscutellum shiny, unsculptured. Metanotum dull, slightly rugose, hollow behind mesoscutellum ( Fig. 213B View FIGURE 213 ). Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, granulate and with many longitudinal striae; propodeal declivity granulate and strongly transversely striate. Mesopleuron partly unsculptured and partly transversely striate, with lateral pointed apophysis ( Fig. 213C View FIGURE 213 ). Metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture step shaped, distinct and com- plete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 20:4:6:25:36. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 214 View FIGURE 214 ) with one small subapical tooth, 1 seta and 6 peg-like setae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 214 View FIGURE 214 ) with inner side proximally slightly serrate, with two rows of 4 (proximal) + 24 lamellae; apex with at least 12 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.
♂. Unknown Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype, DR18001: DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF THE CONGO: Ituri, Djugu Territory , Mongbwalu mining camp, abandoned shamba behind old fences, 01°56’39.32’’N 30°02’39.46’’E, 75 Moericke traps, 20–27.III.2015, A. Gumovsky leg. (SIZK) .

Hosts. Unknown. Distribution. Democratic Republic of the Congo. Etymology. The species is named after the collector, Dr. Alex Gumovsky (Schmalausen Institute of Zoology, Kiev, Ukraine).
