Type species. Adryinus cerrutii (Benoit 1951), by original designation.
Diagnosis. ♀: Fully winged ( Figs 162A, B View FIGURE 162 ); palpal formula 6/3; antenna with ADOs; pronotum crossed by strong transverse furrow ( Figs 162B View FIGURE 162 , 164C View FIGURE 164 ); notauli absent; enlarged claw with one subapical tooth and lamellae, or peg–like setae, or bristles ( Figs 163A, B View FIGURE 163 ); tibial spurs 1/0/1. ♂: Unknown.
Distribution. Afrotropical, Oriental, Nearctic, Neotropical.
Hosts. Unknown.
World species. 12 species are known, eight in the Afrotropical region.
