Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 3.9 mm. Completely ferruginous, except metasoma partly brown. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:6:19:10:9:7:6:5:5:8. Head excavated, dull, granulate; frontal line absent; frons with short narrow longitudinal furrow situated in front of anterior ocellus and directed towards antennal toruli, reaching approximately mid length of frons; occipital carina absent; temple distinct; occiput dull, granulate; POL = 1.5; OL = 3; OOL = 11. Palpal formula 5/3. Pronotum shiny, sculptured by numerous longitudinal striae, crossed by strong transverse impression. Mesoscutum shiny, sculptured by many longitudinal striae, without lateral pointed apophyses. Mesoscutellum sloping anteriorly. Metanotum sculptured by short longitudinal keels, deeply excavated behind mesoscutellum ( Fig. 180H View FIGURE 180 ); sides of metanotum protruding; lateral protrusions of metanotum rounded. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, sculptured by many longitudinal striae; top of metapectal-propodeal disc with strong median longitudinal furrow; propodeal declivity, mesopleuron and metapleuron transversely striate. Meso-metapleural suture distinct and complete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 17:4:6:16:28. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 182D View FIGURE 182 ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of seven lamellae and one bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 182D View FIGURE 182 ) with two rows of approximately 13 lamellae; apex with approximately 18 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: BOTSWANA: Central District, 30 km W of Palapye , 10.IV.1997, by sweeping, M. Olmi leg. ( AMNH) .
