Description. ♀. Apterous; body length 6.1 mm. Head black, except anterior region of frons, clypeus and mandible testaceous; antenna brown, except scape, pedicel and proximal third of flagellomere 1 testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs black, except junctions, tarsi and part of protibia testaceous. Antenna clavate, without ADOs; antennomeres in following proportions: 13:7:36:14:10:19:13:12:10:14. Head excavated, dull, with long sparse setae, with frons granulate and sculptured by many longitudinal keels; temple distinct and strongly granulate and slightly rugose; frontal line complete; occipital carina absent; POL = 2; OL = 2; OOL = 10. Palpal formula 6/3. Pronotum dull, crossed by strong transverse impression, strongly granulate and slightly rugose, with long sparse setae. Mesoscutum dull, rugose, granulate and sculptured by strong longitudinal keels, with two lateral pointed apophyses situated on sides of mesoscutellum, with long sparse setae. Mesoscutellum shiny, smooth, sloping anteriorly. Metanotum about coplanar to mesoscutellum, sloping anteriorly, granulate and reticulate rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, with long sparse setae, reticulate rugose and granulate; propodeal declivity strongly transversely striate, granulate and partly reticulate rugose. Mesopleuron dull, strongly transversely striate and granulate. Metapleuron dull, reticulate rugose. Meso-metapleural suture obsolete. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 26:4:8:21:35. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 223E View FIGURE 223 ) without subdistal tooth, with one row of four lamellae and one bristle, with proximal half very broad. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 223E View FIGURE 223 ) with one row of 10 lamellae; apex with approximately 30 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/0/1.

♂. Unknown.

Material examined. Type: ♀ holotype: MOZAMBIQUE: Niassa, Cuamba, Mozambique Catholic University Campus , 10.IV.2002, on grass, M. Olmi leg. ( MOLC) .

Hosts. Unknown. However, the ♀ holotype was seen to attack unidentified planthoppers belonging to Meeno- plidae, Delphacidae and Tropiduchidae .

Distribution. Mozambique.

Remarks. The ♀ of this species has no antennal ADOs. Despite this character, it attacks Fulgoromorpha and not Cicadomorpha.
