Species included. Leiodes kamezawai sp. nov., L. okawai Nakane, 1963 , L. yukihikoi sp. nov.
Diagnosis. Elytra unicolor and with sparsely arranged large punctures between rows of punctures ( Figs. 61D View Fig , 64D View Fig , 67D View Fig ); mesoventrite with distinct excavation between median carina and transverse carina ( Figs. 61E View Fig , 64E View Fig , 67E View Fig ); protarsi sexually dimorphic, tarsomeres 2–4 a little expanded in males ( Figs. 62A View Fig , 65A View Fig , 68A View Fig ); mesotibiae without sexual dimorphism, simply square at interoapical corner; male metafemur bearing prominent dorsal projection posteroapically, projection of female much smaller than in male ( Figs. 62G, 62H View Fig , 65G, 65H View Fig , 68G, 68H View Fig ); pubescence of metaventrite distinctly or indistinctly sexually dimorphic ( Figs. 61F, 61G View Fig , 64F, 64G View Fig , 67F, 67G View Fig ); aedeagus relatively small compared to body size, with one or a few small sclerites in inner sacs ( Figs. 63A View Fig , 66A View Fig , 69A View Fig ); male abdominal sternite 8 moderately or strongly curved ( Figs. 63C View Fig , 66D View Fig , 69C View Fig ); female abdominal sternite 8 with a spiculum ventrale at central point of anterior margin ( Figs. 63D View Fig , 66E View Fig , 69D View Fig ).
Differential diagnosis. Leiodes okawai species group can be separated from other species group by having the male metafemur bearing a prominent dorsal projection posteroapically and the aedeagus relatively small compared to the body size.
