Apostolepis christineae Lema, 2002

Type locality. Serra das Araras Ecological Station , Porto Estrela, state of Mato Grosso, Brazil .

Distribution. Endemic to Brazil ( Plt. 237A ). Dubious records in Bolivia in Entiauspe-Neto and Lema (2015) are not based on direct examination of specimens and were not included in our maps. Restricted to the Serra das Araras ridge, in western portion of the Cerrado and its contact with the Chiquitano Dry Forests ( Plt. 237A ) at intermediate elevations ( Plt. 237B ). No detailed field data on habitat use are available for this species.
