( Figs 5–6 View Figs 2–6 )

DE MEIJERE 1906: 194.

Material studied: 2 males ( HNHM): India, Anamalai Hills , Tamil Nadu, No. 318, 31. III. 1980, leg . TOPÁL; 1 female ( MHNG): INDIA, [Madras] Palni Hills , 23 km E de Kodaikanal, 15-XI–1972, 1200 m, BESUCHET – LÖBL – MUSSARD, No. 29.

The types were thought to be lost, but de JONG (2000) found one of the syntypes in the Berlin Museum. OKADA (1980) keyed also this species correctly, contrary to the situation that he did not have specimens with him. In order to facilitate identifications in the future, I made two figures on male genitalia. I was able to seeonlyonepair(ratherstrong,thick)ofsetaeonparameres( Fig.6 View Figs 2–6 ),phallusrather robust, broad apically; surstylus ( Fig. 5 View Figs 2–6 ) with 9 prensisetae and additional thick setae, which emerge on the medial surface.

10 = oviscapt, sublateral view. Scale bars: 0.1 mm ( Fig. 7 View Figs 7–10 ), 0.1 mm ( Figs 8–10 View Figs 7–10 )
