The livida View in CoL species-group
Diagnosis. The livida species-group is most similar to the hyalina and eronioides species-groups but can be distinguished from them by the combination of the following characters: 1) Larger than the hyalina species-group.
2) The transverse band on the forewing is absent (generally present in the hyalina and eronioides species-groups).
3) In male genitalia the distal end of sacculus bears two dent-like processes, while in the hyalina species-group the distal end of sacculus bears numerous smaller spines and in the eronioides species-group the distal end of sacculus forms a long (ca. 1 × posterior tegumenal projection length) and strong horn-like process. From the geoffi speciesgroup it can be easily distinguished by the larger size, the presence of a pale spot in the cell R 4 on forewing, the bifurcate posterior end of the 8th tergite and the simple juxta lobes.
