Type locality. Central Madagascar, Ivohibe .

Material examined (4 specimens). MADAGASCAR, Mt. Ambondrombe , env. of peak 1579 m, camp 6, 25.iii.–3.iv.2001, J. Janák lgt., 1 ♂, 1 ♀ ( JJRC); Ranomafana N.P., Talakely, 9.x.2012, S21°13’57.8” E47°23’48.0”, 1141m, sifting litter, L.S. Rahanitriniaina lgt., 2 ♂ ( MMBC, JJRC) .

Distribution. The species is distributed in forested areas from surroundings of Ambatofitorahana, through Ranomafana, Ranomena and Andringitra Mts. up to Ivohibe.
