Taype locality. Beier (1935a): “ Peru ”.

Examined material. “ PERU ”: 3 ♀ (PARATYPES) 1924 ( NHMW). ANCASH: 1 ♂, Cajacay, Rio Fortaleza 2750m, 6.III.1956 (Weyrauch leg.) ( IFML) (id. as Galapagia peruana by M. Beier) . ICA: 1 ♀, Pisco, Pampa de Ocas, Fundo “ Nueva Esperanza ” (“near alfalfa field”), IV.2001 (A. Tapia leg.) ( UNALM) . LIMA: 2 ♂, Verrugas (nr. Km 61 Central Hwy ), 7.IV–19.V.1928 (R.C. Shannon leg.) ( USNM).

Remarks. A female paratype is portrayed in Fig.1a–c .
