Diagnosis. The species of this species group can be recognized by the combination of the following characters:
1. Forewings with Ms1 branching at or distad of tip of basal median cell.
2. Forewings with a large rhomboid cell just distad of basal median cell, formed by crossvein between base of Ms1a and M, which may approach the size of the basal median cell.
3. Forewings with a black mark at the M-Ms4 fork, often also a black mark at the apical R-fork.
4. Male pygofer with large or medium well developed lateral projection, often pointed.
Distribution. Species of this group are found in West Malaysia and Borneo.
