Saprobic on submerged decaying wood. Sexual morph: Undetermined. Asexual morph: Colonies brown to dark brown, hairy, effuse. Setae absent. Conidiophores macronematous, mononematous, cylindrical, straight or slightly sinuous, unbranched, septate, pale brown to dark brown, subhyaline to hyaline towards apex, smooth-walled, arising directly on substrate, 195–275 μm long (x = 230 μm, SD = 45, n = 10), 6–8 μm wide (x = 7 μm, SD = 1, n = 10). Conidiogenous cells integrated, terminal, monophialidic, without a conspicuous collarette. Conidia 11–15 μm long (x = 13 μm, SD = 2, n = 30), 4.5–5.5 μm wide, (x = 5 μm, SD = 0.5, n = 30), cylindrical, rounded at apex, slightly tapering, slightly curved at base, aseptate, some times with 2 guttules, hyaline, smooth-walled.
