Distribution in Iran. Ardabil (Rastegar et al. 2012), Mazandaran (Sakenin et al. 2012), Qazvin ( Ghahari et al. 2011b).
General distribution. Palaearctic. Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Korea, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales ( Broad et al. 2016).
Hosts. Lepidoptera—Choreutidae: Anthophila fabriciana (Linnaeus, 1767) ; Prochoreutis myllerana (Fabricius, 1794) ; P. sehestediana (Fabricius, 1776) ( Yu et al. 2012) . Geometridae : Pseudoterpna lesuraria Lucas, 1933 ( Shenefelt 1975; Belokobylskij 1995; Yu et al. 2012).
