Remarks.—A small grayish brown species marked with piceous, body length 15–15.4 mm, wingspan 42–42.3 mm ( Boulard 1999). The song is a constant buzz with a peak frequency of about 15 kHz ( Boulard 1999; 2006b). The species is found in dense populations in the preforest prairies in southwestern Madagascar ( Boulard 1999).
Distribution.—The species is known only from Madagascar ( Sanborn 2013). Boulard (1999) reported the type series collected between Isifte and Ivohibe, Andrigitra, Madagascar.
