Remarks.—The species can be distinguished from its congeneric species by the fore wing width being about half the fore wing length and the rostrum reaching past the anterior opercular margin ( Distant 1905b).
Distribution.—The species is only known from Madagascar ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2013). Butler (1882) and Jacobi (1917) reported the species from Antananarivo, central Madagascar.
