Identification. Isthmus and chest scaled. A dark midlateral stripe from snout to middle caudal-fin rays. Black spots located on, above and below a dark lateral stripe. Dorsum crossed by 7 to 10 vertical bars that do not reach below lateral stripe ( Eigenmann 1912; Agudelo-Zamora et al. 2020).
