Distribution. Indonesia, Malaysia.
Note. Promalactis autoclina Meyrick, 1935 belongs to the sakaiella species-group, whereas P. autoclina javanica Lvovsky, 2000 is assigned to the present species-group based on the external characters. Wang & Jia (2017) treated P. autoclina javanica as a species instead of a subspecies.
