Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Remarks. The new species is somewhat similar to Homoneura (Homoneura) flavida Shi &Yang from China (Yunnan and Hainan) in the following characters: face without spots and parafacial brown to blackish brown, abdominal tergite 6 yellow with a small brown median spot; gonopod columniform. But it can be separated from the latter by the following features: wing without markings; protandrium with a long narrow furcated ventral process; surstylus broad, hairy, digitiform; aedeagus without distinct apical incision, and with a pair of lateral median teeth, a pair of ventral teeth and a pair of dorsal teeth. In H. (H.) flavida , the wing has a brown stripe on dmcu; the surstylus is nearly knife–like; aedeagus has a distinct apical incision, the aedeagus has no distinct process (Shi & Yang 2009).
Etymology. Latin, longi -, prefix meaning long + processa, meaning process, referring to the protandrium having a long, narrow, furcated ventral process.
