Portugal (Cunha et al. 1999ab, Ariani & Wittmann 2000). Gulf of Cádiz (Drake & Arias 1997, Drake et al. 1997, Ariani & Wittmann 2000). Mediterranean Sea ( San Vicente & Munilla 2000, Ariani & Wittmann 2004, San Vicente et al. 2011).
Remarks. Several Iberian records reported D. bahirensis , but according to Ariani & Wittmann (2000) these records are considered synonymous with D. lagunaris .
