Type species. Dromidia antillensis Stimpson, 1858 View in CoL [Type locality: Antillean Islands ] .
Remarks. Moreiradromia is amphi-American in distribution, with one Atlantic and one Pacific species, M. antillensis and M. sarraburrei (Rathbun, 1910) , respectively ( Guinot & Tavares 2003: 82).
