Number of specimens recorded. 11.

Distribution. Scattered all over Europe; also North Africa. Portugal: four northern provinces and Ribatejo in this study, and Algarve (Dyte unpubl. data).

Ecology. Recorded equally frequently from forests, parks and riverbanks in Portugal. In northwestern Europe, this species is restricted to saltmarshes and brackish marshes.

Rarity (%). 5.7 (fairly rare). Rare (FL).

Activity period. July–September.
