Number of specimens recorded. 44.

Distribution. Rather restricted to western and southwestern Europe. Portugal: five northernmost provinces.

Ecology. Most often collected in grassland and heathland biotopes, and thus far not observed in the littoral zone, dunes nor mountains. In northwestern Europe, this species is mainly found in humid to rather humid forests, and wooded swamps (or carrs) ( Pollet 2000).

Rarity (%). 10.3 (common). Fairly rare (FL).
