( ASU No. 335), Dagestan, Kumtorkalinsky District , 2 km S Sarykum sand dune, stony steppe, under stones, N42°59', E47°13', 220 m, 27–28.IV. and 10–11. V GoogleMaps .2021, coll. Distribution. A Turano-Mediterranean species ( Zapparoli 1991; Stoev 2000; Chipman et al. 2013; Simaiakis et al. 2013; Zarei et al. 2020; Dyachkov 2020a, 2020c; Dyachkov & Nedoev 2021). Russia: Volgograd Oblast ( Volkova 2016) and Dagestan (new).

Remarks. This species, genus Bothriogaster , and family Himantariidae are new the fauna of both the Dagestan and North Caucasus.
