Type material. Holotype ♂. MYANMAR: Dawei (14°4.272’ N, 98°15.913’ E) 179 m, 4 May 2018, Warrit N. et al. (ARA-2018-159). Paratypes as noted in Sivayyapram et al. (2020). All deposited in Chulalongkorn University Museum of Zoology (CUMZ), Bangkok GoogleMaps .
Diagnosis. Males differ from those of other Phlogiellus species, except P. moniqueverdezae, in possessing long white setae dorsally on tibiae and metatarsi I and II (Fig. 1a) and from the latter species in the absence of a maxillary lyra and embolus process (Figs 3b, 5). Females differ from those of P. moniqueverdezae in the less swollen tip of the spermathecae and the narrower spermathecal groove (Fig. 9).
