Baseprocessa serratispatulata (Viraktamath & Meshram) comb. nov.

Measurements. Male 7.0− 7.3 mm long, 1.8 mm wide across eyes and 2.1 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum. Female 9.6−9.9 mm long, 2.1 mm wide across eyes and 2.6 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum.

Material examined. HOLOTYPE ♂, INDIA: Manipur: Tengnoupal Sita road, 24°23′33″N, 94°08′82″E, 1352m, 26.viii.2014, Sweep net, Yeshwanth, H.M. ( UASB) . PARATYPES: 2♀, Ukhrul , 25°06′48″N, 94°21′02″E, 1647m, 28.viii.2014, Sweep net, Yeshwanth, H.M .; 1♀, KelbulLamjao National Park , 24°23′82″N, 94°04′63″E, 1294m, 20.viii.2014, Sweep net, Yeshwanth, H.M. ( UASB). INDIA: Mizoram : 1 ♂, 1 ♀, Kolasib, 24.iv.2012, Mercury vapor light, Rony, K. ( NPC) .

Remarks. Male genitalia of this species agree well with the generic characters of Baseprocessa and hence the generic transfer. B. serratispatulata comb. nov. resembles B. longiprocessa but differs in having a serrated ventral pygofer process.
