Type locality: ‘ The Kowie’.

Label locality: ‘ S. Africa’.

Type material: Lectotype NHMUK 1900.5.22.42 and 2 paralectotypes NHMUK 1900.5.22.43-44 (G.B. Sowerby collection). Indirect lectotype selection by inference of holotype ( Cernohorsky, 1969: 212).
