Biology. The species inhabits different types of semi-deserts. Flight period in April and May. Host plant is unknown .

Distribution. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan (Ragonot 1983; Sinev 1990; Roesler 1993; Slamka 2019).

Molecular data ( Table 1–2. Fig. 1 ). The species has a BIN (Barcode Index Number) in the BOLD: AAU5717 (n=4; sequence length 658 bp in all specimens). Mean intraspecific variation 0.08%. Maximum intraspecific distance 0.15%. Neighbour BIN AAV5716 includes a single specimen of R. turanella sp. nov. with a minimum interspecific COI p-distance of 3.53%.
