This is a new record from India and the Asian continent. The aedeagus has a short and caudoventrally directed blunt tip at an angle. This species belongs to the ununguis ( Pritchard & Baker 1955).
Specimens examined. Three females and six males: Botanical garden, GKVK, Bangalore , January 2013, ex. Cupressus sp., coll. Mahran Zeity ( AINP1160 ) ; two females and four males: NBFGR campus, Lucknow , Uttar Pradesh; February 2014, ex. Thuja sp., coll. N. Srinivasa ( AINP1446 )
