Paracladopelma kamalanagari (Maheshwari et Agarwal) Comb. n.
Cladopelma kamalanagari Maheshwari et Agarwal, 1993: 169 View in CoL .
Remarks: The species was described from Agra in India ( Maheshwari & Agarwal 1993). However, the species is not included in the checklist of the chironomid from the Indian subcontinent ( Chaudhuri et al. 2001). We have not seen type specimens, but based on the original descriptions and illustrations the species is tentatively transferred to Paracladopelma as it has a short gonostylus, slender, cylindrical superior volsella, and a big, pad-liked inferior volsella, characters which all fit the diagnosis of Paracladopelma .
