pruinosus (Roger). Fairfax, Isle of Wight, Mecklenburg, Northampton, Pittsylvania, Prince Edward, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, York (MCZ, USNM, VMNH). Literature records: Virginia Beach ( Guenard & Drew 2011), “ Virginia ” ( Peck et al. 1998, Guenard et al. 2012).

Uncertain taxonomic status. According to Deyrup (2016), this yellowish species is commonly found in open areas of the southeastern United States; including somewhat disturbed sites (see comments in Deyrup 2016). We have not yet collected this species in Virginia.
