Material examined. Type material, Museum of Institute of Zoology, St. Petersburg. SMF-41986: Lectotype. Kuang-ting (Guanting in new spelling. 33°48΄ N, 104°30΄ E), Kansu, China. Slg. O.v.Moellendorff. SMF- 41987: Paratypes. 2 fmss. Kuang-ting, Kansu, China. Slg. O.v.Moellendorff.
Distribution. Gansu (type locality).
Type locality. Near Kuang-ting, between Li-dshia-pu and Hsi-gu-tsheng.
Diagnosis. Shell bandless; striate. Aperture without angular tubercle. Most swollen part at body whorl. With 5.375–5.875 whorls; height 15.8–17.3, diam. maj. 12.1–13.3.
Re-description of Shell. Global; apex protruded. Most swollen part at body whorl. Dextral; thin; solid; opaque; glossy; not speckled; not spirally grooved; with 5.375–5.583–5.875 whorls. Whorls more or less flattened; not shouldered. Growth lines usually not very clear. Embryonic shell smooth; polished; with 1.500–1.500–1.500 whorls. Postnuclear whorls smooth. Suture normal, without narrow defined zone on beneath whorl. Last whorl gradually ascending towards aperture; rounded at periphery; without smoothed spiral peripheral depression nor rugate region. Shell 15.8–16.7–17.3 high; 12.1–12.7– 13.3 in diam. maj. Height/width ratio 1.27–1.31–1.36. Aperture in a plane; completely attached to body whorl; truncate-ovate; not adnate; oblique; not armed; without angular tubercle; 9.2–10.1–10.7 high; 7.5–8.2–8.8 wide. Ratio of shell height to aperture height 1.62–1.66–1.72. Peristome reflexed with distinct cuff. Cuff made by the reflexed peristome straight and not curved backward, or curved backward. Peristome expanded; sharp. Parietal callus indistinct. Columellar margin reflexed. Columella vertical, or arched. Outer edge of columellar lip vertical. Umbilicus very narrowly open. Apical whorls normally coloured. Shell multicoloured; background corneous brown, below apex with very broad white striations which make the shell whitish; not brightly banded; spirally without colour band.
