Distribution. Sichuan.
Type locality. Luding County and Wa-sy-kou near Thal des Tung (Sichuan)
Diagnosis. Shell banded beneath suture; not striate. Aperture separated from body whorl, without angular tubercle. Most swollen part at penultimate and body whorls. With 7.250 whorls; height 19.7, diam. maj. 11.3.
Re-description of shell. Fusiform; apex protruded. Most swollen part at penultimate and body whorls. Shell dextral; thick; solid; opaque; glossy; not speckled; not spirally grooved;with 7.250 whorls. Whorls not shouldered; flattened. Embryonic shell smooth; polished. Embryonic shell with 1.750 whorls. Postnuclear whorls smooth. Suture normal, without narrow defined zone on beneath whorl. Last whorl straight in front, or descending in front; rounded at periphery; without smoothed spiral peripheral depression nor rugate region. Shell 19.7 high; 11.3 in diam. maj. Height/width ratio 1.74. Aperture in a plane; separated from body whorl; ovate; adnate; oblique; not armed; without angular tubercle; 9.4 high; 7.5 wide. Ratio of shell height to aperture height 2.1. Peristome reflexed with distinct cuff; expanded; sharp. Parietal callus distinct. Columellar margin well reflexed. Umbilicus cylindrical, comparatively broad. Apical whorls differently tinted. Shell multicoloured; white with apex brown. From the third whorl to aperture a narrow brown spiral band present just beneath suture.
