Type material. Holotype ♀, mounted on triangular card, India: Kerala, Idukki district, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kuttar (10°30’ N & 77°20’ E, 450 m), 04.iv.2012, Coll. P.M. Sureshan, ( ZSIK) Regd. No. ZSI/ WGRC /IR/INV.2346. Ex. Dead wood infested with beetles GoogleMaps . Paratypes 2♂ ZSI/ WGRC /IR/INV/2348(i–ii). Examined .

Diagnosis. Body length 11.0 mm, ovipositor sheath length 10.0 mm. Frons transversely striate to carinate; vertex with four complete and strong carinae followed by distinct transverse striae; ocellar area with longitudinal carinae; neck anteriorly deeply emarginate; pronotum trans carinate anteriorly turning finely reticulate posteriorly; mesoscutum anteriorly finely and transversely reticulate and with broad transverse band of pits posteriorly; scutellum finely alutaceous with sparse and scattered pits; metapleura carinate with deep pits; propodeum with broad shallow pits, interstices reticulate; hind coxa strongly annulate; hind femora bidentate with few denticles on the ventral side; first metasomal tergite uniformly annulate carinate, longer than combined length of remaining segments; ovipositor sheath longer than metasoma, with a subapical pale ivory ring.
Male. Body length 9.0 mm. Antenna with fewer antennomeres than in females (30:26); otherwise resembles female.
Distribution. Oriental: India (Kerala, West Bengal (present record)).
Host. Unknown, presumably on wood boring beetles (reared from dead wood with unknown beetle infestation).
