uhleri Neiva, 1911b: 421 ; Triatoma
( Figs. 80–83 View FIGURES 76–83 )
Current status: a junior subjective synonym of Triatoma rubida ( Uhler, 1894: 285) ; synonymized by Lent & Wygodzinsky (1979: 309).
PARATYPE female ( Figs. 80–82 View FIGURES 76–83 ) with labels ( Fig. 83 View FIGURES 76–83 ): “ Type ” [red, pr] / / “Oracle / 27 [hw] Ar” [pr] // “Uhleri n. sp. / Neiva det.” [hw]
Remarks. Neiva (1914) and Lent & Wygodzinsky (1979) affirmed that the type of T. uhleri is in the National Museum of Natural History (NMNH), Smithsonian Institution, Washington D. C., USA. However, according to Neiva (1914: 68) there are 16 females and 8 males in the original type series. The specimen in MfN is considered one the paratypes because of label data.
