Habitus Fig. 2. Length 0.99 mm. Colour black, shining, with sparse fine grey pubescence and very fine punctulation; antennae and legs dusky yellow. Antennomeres 3–11 0.28 mm long. Pubescence on head longer on forehead than frons but not as long as that on the pronotum and elytra. Width across eyes 0.29 mm. Pronotum with a narrow raised border extending along the posterior and lateral margins to the front angles, 0.43 mm wide, 0.27 mm long. Elytra 0.65 mm long, 0.51 mm wide. Scutellum with a short median keel and two depressions spaced as brevissimum and inornatum Figs. 24, 25. Proventral keel between procoxae smoothly rounded dorsally Fig. 20.

Male: not known.

Etymology. After the Latin capillatus meaning hairy.

Diagnosis. The pronotal and elytral pubescence will quickly distinguish this species.

Type data: Holotype: ♀, PERU: Cusco Dept.: Wayqecha Field Station, cafeteria ~ 1 km west, research plot, 13.17588°S 71.59487°W, 2825m, 10–12.V.2011, D.J. Bennett & E. Razuri, blue pan trap, PER-11-PTB-001 ( MUSM).
