Discussion. This species inhabits the New World in the USA (Maryland south to Louisiana and Florida), south to Argentina. We provide the first records from Mexico from the states of Jalisco and Tabasco.

Material Examined. MEXICO, Jalisco, Estación de Biología Chamela , Cuenca 4A, Trampa Malaise (5A), 3–8-jun-1993, A. Rodríguez-Palafox, 1 male . Tabasco, Villahermosa , Centro, dentro del Zoológico, 23-Dic-2008 al 8-enero-2009, Trampa Malaise, A. Villanueva, 1 male . New Mexico Records.
