= Parnassia bornmuelleri Freyn (1894: 98) View in CoL

TYPE:— IRAN (PERSIA): Kerman, in regione alpine Mountains Kuh Lalesar , 3600 m, 14 July 1892, Bornmueller 3859 (lectotype designated here: P06392676 ; isolectotypes: JE00007177 , HBG508760 View Materials , K000739495 , PH 00019081)

Notes: Specimens of Bornmueller, without the collection number but the elevation of 3600–3800 m were indicated in the protologue of P. bornmuelleri . Two gatherings, Bornmueller 3859 and 3860 were cited as types in a later revision by Nekrassova (1927). However, the specimens of Bornmueller 3860 were collected at an elevation of 3300 m, and so, they should not be syntypes of this name. Five sheets of Bornmueller 3859 matching the original description of the type were traced, from which we designated P 06392676 as the lectotype.
