TYPE:— CHINA. Yunnan, Dali, Mt. Cang shan (Tsang chan), 3500–4000 m, 5 August 1884, Delavay 75 (lectotype designated here: P00709352 ; isolectotypes: P05556412 , P05556413 , P05556415 , L0281538 , US00956170) ; CHINA. Yunnan, Dali, Mt. Cang shan (Tsang chan), 4000 m, 25 August 1884, Delavay 752 (syntypes: P00709353 , P00709354 , P06392594 , P06392665 , P06392706 , P06392707 , E00724703 , K000739457 , L0281537 )

Notes: Two collections, Delavay 75 and Delavay 752 were cited in the protologue, which were collected from the same mountain but at different times (5 August 1884 and 25 August 1884). Duplicates of both the collections are present in several herbaria, and the Delavay 75 duplicate P 00709352 is selected as the lectotype.
