TYPE:— INDIA. Kumaun , Palang gadh. Byans, 11000–12000 ft, 21 July 1886, J. F. Duthie 5554 (lectotype designated here: LE00013414 ; isolectotypes: BM000600004 , K000739360 )
Notes: Two collections were cited in the protologue as syntypes, J. F. Duthie 5554 on 21 July 1886 and J. F. Duthie 2898 on 4 September 1884. Three specimens of J. F. Duthie 5554 were traced from LE, BM and K. On the sheet of LE 00013414, we found a detailed penciled note by Nekrassova, further, the individuals were well separated and drawn to show the identification characters. Obviously, this specimen was studied by Nekrassova, so we selected it as the lectotype.
